Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to support K-12 students. The contract runs August 2026 through May 2027 with 30 hours per week of consistent weekday schedule. Must interpret ASL in classroom settings and collaborate with teachers to foster inclusive learning.

Qualified candidates hold an EIPA 4.0+ or RID certification, strong ASL skills, and experience in school environments. Competitive pay with weekly payroll and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Certification required: EIPA 4.0+ or RID.
• Experience in K-12 settings preferred.
• ASL fluency required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret in both one-on-one and group settings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa during classroom instruction, assemblies, meetings, and activities.
• Support students' understanding of curriculum content and learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to address individual needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed.
