Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking an Educational Interpreter (ASL) for a public school district in Silverdale, WA. The role is in-person with a 32.5-hour workweek and runs from 09/08/2026 to 06/16/2027, serving elementary and middle school students with Deaf/Hard of Hearing needs.

Requirements include ASL fluency and school-based interpreting experience; EIPA/NIC credentials are preferred. Competitive benefits and W2 Local or Travel arrangements offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• EIPA 4.0+ with passing EIPA written test or RID NIC with passing EIPA written test

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate fluency in American Sign Language to interpret and communicate effectively with the student and staff
• Interpret sign language for deaf students and voice for the student when needed
• Facilitate communication and educational access for deaf and hard of hearing student(s)
• Perform non-instructional signing activities; convert voice to sign language and vice versa
• Provide specially designed instruction as needed
• Execute accurate, timely, impartial, and effective signing with strong receptive skills
