Job summary

Verbal Behavior Associates is hiring Behavior Technicians to work 1:1 with students across San Diego County, including Ramona. You will support communication, self-help, social, and play skills while implementing BCBA-designed plans and tracking progress.

Training is provided as you earn your RBT certification, with paid non-billable time and growth opportunities through mentoring from BCBAs. We offer flexible schedules with paid drive time, a $20–$27 hourly rate, and opportunities for part-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 18+
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Availability 3 weekdays 7:30 AM–3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with special needs to build communication, self-help, social, and play skills
• Implement behavior plans designed by BCBAs, adapting techniques to each student’s needs
• Track progress through behavior data collection and clinical notes
• Attend ongoing training to sharpen skills and grow your ABA career
