Job summary

Verbal Behavior Associates is hiring Behavior Technicians to work 1:1 with students in Brentwood and surrounding areas. You will assist in building communication, self-help, social, and play skills while following behavior plans designed by BCBAs and tracking progress with data and notes.

The role offers school-day hours, possible part-time or full-time schedules, and a clear path to RBT certification with paid training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Availability at least 3 weekdays, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM.
• Pass Live Scan background check and TB test; provide proof of MMR and TDap vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with special needs to build communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
• Implement behavior plans designed by BCBAs, adapting techniques to each student's needs.
• Track progress through behavior data collection and clinical notes.
• Attend ongoing training to sharpen your skills and grow your ABA career.
