Verbal Behavior Associates is hiring for school-based roles across San Diego County, including Poway, Escondido, Ramona, and more. We offer flexible schedules with part-time and full-time options and provide paid training and mentorship from BCBAs as you earn your RBT certification.

Benefits include paid training, drive time and mileage, a cell phone stipend, and referral incentives. Hiring for positions in California schools with stable hours and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Have a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Be open to work at least 3 days weekdays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Provide proof of COVID-19, MMR, and Tdap vaccination.
• Take a TB Test and Live Scan background check.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with special needs to support development of communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
• Implement behavior plans designed by BCBAs and tailor techniques to meet client needs and ensure skill acquisition.
• Track and share client’s progress by collecting behavior data and recording clinical notes.
• Attend ongoing development and training designed to strengthen the team and the ABA services we provide.
