Bellefaire JCB seeks a Monarch School Behavior Specialist to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop, monitor, and manage Behavior Intervention Plans for assigned Monarch students. Work under supervision of a BCBA and fulfill BACB fieldwork requirements.

The role involves training staff, creating data-driven reports, and collaborating with school teams to support student outcomes while adhering to ethical guidelines and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; pursuing Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or Psychology with BACB-approved coursework (BCBA or BCaBA).
• 1 Year Educational Aide Permit - Ohio Department of Education.
• Must demonstrate core competencies and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and analyses.
• Develop and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Coordinate implementation across school settings and train staff.
• Maintain data collection systems and progress reports.
• Collaborate with directors, supervisors, teachers and related service providers.
• Support families and communicate progress to stakeholders.
