School-Based ABA Aide II — After-School Support

Point Quest Group is seeking a Behavioral Aide to support students with special needs in K–12 settings. You will implement behavior intervention plans, provide one-on-one instructional support, and collaborate with teachers and clinical staff to deliver personalized care.

The role requires DOJ/FBI Live Scan and TB clearance, 6.5 hour shifts, and travel within 30 miles. This is a part-time position in an after-school program emphasizing ABA techniques and student progress data collection.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required for BA I-II, Bachelor's degree required for BA III.
• Experience: Prior experience in a school or treatment setting with students needing learning, social, emotional, or behavioral assistance.
• Clearances: DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance required.
• Preferred certifications: Pro-ACT, CPI intervention training, and/or CPR certification.
• Technical skills: Proficient with standard software applications and the internet.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support Educational Plans: Assist teachers with instructional support and implement IEPs and BIPs.
• Instructional Assistance: Provide tailored instructional support to individual student needs.
• Travel: Report to different locations within 30 miles one-way as assigned.
• Work Schedule: 6.5 hour shift, Monday–Friday, 6AM–4:30PM (approx).
• Crisis Intervention: Respond to emergencies using Pro-ACT/CPI methods.
• Student Supervision: Monitor students during breaks, meals, transport, and bathroom use.
• Recreational Activities: Participate in activities like athletics and crafts.
• Behavioral Modeling: Apply ABA methodologies to influence targeted behaviors.
• Data Recording: Track daily data on behavior and progress.
• Communication: Maintain open lines with supervisors and staff.
