Job summary

Point Quest Group is hiring Behavioral Aides for the Los Angeles area. The role supports students with special needs in K–12 settings, implementing behavior plans and providing one-on-one instructional support within an after-school program.

You will collaborate with teachers and clinical staff to deliver personalized care, using ABA methodologies and data capture to track progress and outcomes. Duties include supervision, crisis intervention, and occasional travel across sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for BA I-II, Bachelor's degree required for BA III.
• Experience in a school or treatment setting with students needing learning, social, emotional, or behavioral support.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support Educational Plans and implement IEPs and BIPs.
• Provide instructional support tailored to individual student needs.
• Travel to locations within 30 miles as needed.
• Work approximately a 6.5 hour shift Mon-Fri 6AM-4:30PM.
• Respond to emergencies using Pro-ACT and CPI methods.
• Monitor students during breaks, meals, transportation, and bathroom use.
• Engage in recreational activities and ABA-based behavior modeling.
• Record daily data on behavior, progress, incidents, and goals.
• Communicate with supervisors and staff about student status.
