Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time Baker in Katy, TX (British International School of Houston location). The role runs Monday–Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, with interview details provided upon request.

Qualifications

• Previous bakery and food service experience required.
• Ability to follow recipes and production specifications.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift supplies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares baked goods such as breads, pies, cakes, cookies and pastries per recipes and production sheets.
• Assists in production planning to meet daily requirements.
• Maintains food quality, portion control and proper serving temperatures.
• Ensures sanitation and orderly workspace; follows safety regulations.
• Assists with waste tracking and production records; notifies supervisor of low supplies.
• Interacts with customers in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
