Flik Independent School Dining at the British International School of Houston in Katy, TX is seeking a full-time Baker to prepare baked goods daily from approved recipes and production specifications. The schedule is 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant school dining program.

The ideal candidate will have bakery and food service experience and be committed to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous bakery and food service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and workstation.
• Ensures proper food presentation, quality and portion control.
• Assists with production records and inventory when needed.
• Interacts with customers and addresses concerns professionally.
