Job summary

Old Colony YMCA seeks a School Age Site Coordinator for the Stoughton Branch in Massachusetts. The role focuses on supervising before school and after school programs, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for school-age children.

The successful candidate will have a related degree or equivalent with experience, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 20.
• Bachelor's or equivalent with 9 months experience with school-age children, or HS diploma with 1 year related experience.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months.
• Negative Mantoux TB test and immunity for measles, mumps, rubella.
• Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and work weekends/early mornings.
• Ability to engage positively with youth and foster a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise before and after school program hours (before school 7am, after school until 6pm).
• Create a fun, safe, and educational environment for school-age children.
• Build lasting relationships with children, families, and staff at the Stoughton Branch.
