Job summary

The YMCA of Delaware is seeking a School Age Administrator for Middletown Family YMCA. The role focuses on on-site supervision, delivering developmentally appropriate activities, and maintaining family communication to support youth success.

Responsibilities include planning daily programs, ensuring safety, and documenting progress while collaborating with staff and parents. This is a part-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth within the Y system.

Qualifications

• Must meet licensing requirements and be at least 20 years old.
• Complete physical and TB screening within 30 days of hire.
• Criminal history and background checks as required by Delaware.

Responsibilities

• Be on-site 50% of program hours to ensure consistency and quality of care.
• Supervise children, groups and activities with safe, developmentally appropriate practices.
• Provide daily care and support for children including feeding and social-emotional development.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities—literacy, health, STEM, and physical activities.
• Observe and document children's progress and communicate with parents and staff.
• Maintain clean, safe facilities and accurate program documentation.
