Job summary

YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking enthusiastic Program Leaders to support our school-age programs. You will help kids with activities, supervise groups, and reinforce our core values of respect, responsibility, honesty and caring.

The role offers morning and afternoon shifts, with potential for full-time summer work. A minimum 18 years old and CPR/First Aid certification are required. Join a team dedicated to safe, engaging youth programming.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• Provide documentation of 480 hours of experience working directly with school-age children.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid (can be completed through the YMCA).
• Work well on a team, communicate with youth, parents and colleagues, and commit to high-quality programming.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the site team to provide a safe and engaging environment for school-age participants.
• Lead and supervise children in small and large groups.
• Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards and YMCA policies.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Support program aides and volunteers and provide positive guidance to participants.
