Job summary

YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking a Program Aide to support school-age programs and ensure a safe, engaging environment aligned with our core values of respect, responsibility, honesty and caring.

You will assist with supervision, gym and group games, and arts and crafts, working under direct supervision. Opportunities exist to advance into leadership as you contribute to a positive youth development experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years old.
• Ability to work well on a team and communicate with youth, parents and staff while promoting YMCA programming and fun.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to program safety and cleanliness standards.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
• Follows YMCA policies, including those on medical situations, discipline, child abuse prevention and emergencies.
• Maintains positive relations with parents and staff; models relationship-building.
• Keeps YMCA issues confidential and handles records appropriately.
• Be on time for all shifts and flexible to schedule changes, including full days.
• Other duties as assigned.
