Job summary

YMCA of the Northern Colorado is hiring for Program Aide positions to support school-age participants in safe, engaging environments. The role emphasizes core YMCA values and teamwork, with duties spanning safety, activity facilitation, and parent communication.

Shifts run mornings and after-school, with opportunities for full-day coverage when school is out. A minimum age of 16, reliability, and positive mentorship are essential; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years old.
• Commitment to being a positive role model with youth.
• Ability to work well on a team and communicate with youth, parents and colleagues.
• Bilingual preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to program standards including safety and cleanliness.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
• Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies.
• Maintains positive relations with parents and other staff; models relationship-building in all interactions.
• Maintains confidentiality of YMCA issues, incidents and records.
• Be on time for all shifts; flexible to schedule changes, including full days.
• Other duties as assigned.
