Job summary

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking Program Leaders to support our growing school-age programs in Longmont, CO. Shifts include before and after school hours with potential for full-time in summer, providing a safe, engaging environment based on core YMCA values.

Staff are expected to lead activities, supervise groups and participate in trainings; availability for at least 3 consistent days per week is preferred. Bilingual staff receive a +10% differential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Provide documentation of 480 hours of experience working directly with school-age children.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain through YMCA.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of site team to ensure a safe and engaging environment for school-age participants.
• Independently lead and supervise children in small and large group activities.
• Adhere to program standards including safety and cleanliness.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Follow YMCA policies including medical, disciplinary, and emergencies.
