Job summary

YMCA of Northern Colorado is hiring Part-time Program Leaders to support school-age programs. Shifts include mornings and afternoons with opportunities for full-time summer work.

Salary ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, with a +10% bilingual differential for Spanish/English speakers. Responsibilities include leading activities, ensuring safety, and fostering core YMCA values while collaborating with staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Provide 480 hours of experience working directly with school-age children.
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified (can be completed through the YMCA).
• Be able to work well on a team and communicate with youth, parents, and colleagues.
• Committed to high-quality programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise children in small and large group activities.
• Ensure a safe, engaging environment aligned with YMCA core values.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; follow YMCA policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff, parents, participants and community members.
• Be punctual and flexible to schedule changes, including full days when needed.
• Provide leadership and support to Program Aides and Volunteers.
