Job summary

YMCA of the Suncoast is seeking a full-time Before and/or After School Site Supervisor for Pleasant Grove Elementary in Inverness, FL. The role leads a YMCA School-Age Program site, ensuring alignment with YMCA values, licensing requirements, and strong youth development outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare and staff supervision.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required within 90 days of hire.
• Florida Director Credential preferred; driving criteria may apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the site ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
• Design and implement lesson plans focusing on social-emotional learning and academic support.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff and volunteers.
• Cultivate relationships with families, schools, and community stakeholders.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor site finances; manage fee collection.
