Job summary

The YMCA of the Suncoast in Spring Hill, FL seeks a Before and/or After School Site Supervisor to oversee a school-age program, ensuring safety, development, and alignment with YMCA values.

You will lead staff, design daily activities, manage records, and coordinate with families and the school community to deliver high-quality programs. Part-time, non-exempt position with early morning and late afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in child-related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of childcare experience and staff supervision.
• Knowledge of youth development practices and behavior management.
• Meet qualifications to be staff member in charge (SMIC).
• CPR/AED and First Aid required within 90 days; state MODS training within 12 months; Florida Director Credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment.
• Design and implement lesson plans focusing on social-emotional learning, academic support, and enrichment.
• Monitor program quality and ensure licensing compliance with state, county, and YMCA requirements.
• Maintain accurate records for children, staff, and volunteers.
