Job summary

The YMCA of the Suncoast is seeking a Before/After School Site Supervisor in Florida to lead a School-Age Program. You will ensure safety, developmentally appropriate activities, and strong relationships with children, families, staff, and schools.

Responsibilities include daily site operations, lesson design, licensing compliance, record-keeping, staff supervision, and community engagement to support youth growth and family connections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of childcare and staff supervision experience.
• Florida Director Credential not required but preferred.
• Must obtain MODS training within 12 months of hire.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the site and ensure a safe, nurturing environment.
• Design lesson plans focusing on social-emotional learning and academic support.
• Monitor program quality and compliance with licensing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records for children, staff, and volunteers.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff and volunteers.
• Engage families and community partners to support youth development.
