Job summary

The YMCA of the Suncoast is seeking a Before and/or After School Site Supervisor for Crystal River Primary in Crystal River, FL. This full-time, non-exempt role leads a school-age program, ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with YMCA values while building strong ties with families and schools.

You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff and volunteers, design enriching activities, manage records, and support budgeting and fundraising efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a child-related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare and staff supervision.
• CPR/AED and First Aid required within 90 days of hire.
• Florida Director Credential preferred.
• Must meet YMCA driving criteria.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment.
• Design and implement lessons focused on SEL, academic support, and enrichment.
• Supervise staff and volunteers; recruit, train, and evaluate program personnel.
• Engage families and community partners; represent the YMCA at school and community events.
• Assist in budget prep, monitor finances, and support fundraising activities.
