Job summary

YMCA of the Suncoast is seeking a dedicated Before and/or After School Site Supervisor for Crystal River Primary. The role leads a school-age program, ensuring safety, nurturing environments, and alignment with YMCA values and licensing requirements.

You will oversee daily operations, develop social-emotional and academic activities, supervise staff and volunteers, and engage families and community partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare and staff supervision.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
• MODS training within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the site, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
• Design and implement lesson plans with a focus on social-emotional learning and enrichment.
• Monitor program quality and ensure licensing requirements are met.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff and volunteers.
• Engage families and community partners through school functions and meetings.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor site finances.
