Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking a School Age Child Care Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year in Flemington, NJ. This part-time, hourly role runs Monday-Friday with morning and/or after-school shifts, paying $19.00-$22.00 per hour.

You will work with a team in a YMCA-associated program, support the site director, engage children, and help with activities, snacks, and homework, while enjoying flexible scheduling and community impact.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• 2+ years of working with children
• 1+ year of Leadership/Supervisory experience in a child care setting
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances

Responsibilities

• Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn
• Being patient and kind with our parents
• Assisting the site director with day to day functions of before or after school daycare program
• Aiding the kids through activities, snack time, homework etc.

What is needed for this job
