Job summary

The YMCA in Flemington, NJ is seeking a School Age Child Care Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time, hourly role covers Monday through Friday, 7:00am-9:00am and/or 3:00pm-6:00pm with a pay rate of $17.00-$18.50 per hour.

Candidates should enjoy working with kids and be able to pass all required background clearances. The position offers a friendly, community-focused environment with opportunities to grow within the YMCA.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Prior experience working with children (professional, volunteer, or familial).
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment.
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances.

Responsibilities

• Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn.
• Being patient and kind with our parents.
• Safely supervising children through activities, snack time, homework time, etc. in before and after school daycare program.
