This role manages the administration of scholarships, federal work study, and TN Student Assistance Award, including verification, calculations, and reconciling payments.

The Coordinator serves as liaison across offices, ensuring compliant awarding and timely communication with students and families while maintaining FERPA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, business or education.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and common office applications.
• Experience with student information systems (Ellucian Banner/Colleague/PeopleSoft).
• Experience in finance, customer service or education settings.
• Able to handle confidential information in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated basic accounting and clerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between work-study offices and Financial Aid.
• Monitor eligibility, documents and awards; respond to students and parents.
• Advise students and families on aid eligibility and status.
• Ensure federal eligibility compliance and accurate awarding of scholarships.
• Collaborate with campus offices to maintain consistent messaging.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and institutional regulations.
• Assist with reconciliation and reporting of awards.
