Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required or equivalent experience in finance or business.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in finance, business, or education.

Responsibilities

• Provides primary financial aid counseling to diverse students and families.
• Advises on aid programs, FAFSA completion, and documentation.
• Maintains confidential records to ensure FERPA compliance.
• Supports outreach workshops and campus events.
• Collaborates with admissions and bursar to improve outcomes.
• Maintains tools and systems to perform duties effectively.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation and federal regulations.
• Counsels on grants, loans, and scholarship options.
• Guides students through aid awards and decision making.
• Maintains student information systems accurately.
• Delivers individual and group sessions to address concerns.
• Stays current on state and federal financial aid guidelines.
