Job summary

The College of Coastal Georgia is seeking a Scholarship Coordinator & Financial Aid Specialist to administer and promote institutional and donor-funded scholarships. You will serve as the functional administrator for the scholarship management system and advise students and families on scholarship opportunities.

• Bachelor degree in business, communication, higher education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supports scholarship management system administration and daily operations.
• Coordinates application cycles, review committees and workflows; troubleshoots issues and generates reports.
• Advises students and families on scholarship opportunities, timelines, and eligibility requirements.
• Promotes scholarships to increase participation; maintains scholarship webpages and presents at orientations.
• Coordinates with Institutional Advancement to match students with donor criteria and funds.
• Plans Scholarship Day and related donor/recipient events.
• Monitors scholarship recipients' academic progress and eligibility.
• Reviews need-analysis data and reports for data integrity and reconciliation.
• Performs related duties to support the Financial Aid Office.
