Job summary

University of Florida seeks a Student Financial Aid Coordinator II to manage scholarship programs from start to finish, review applications, and ensure funding opportunities are accessible to students. You will work with campus partners to maintain accurate data and uphold regulations.

You will also support training, data oversight, and process improvements, including occasional travel for recruitment and events.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration with campus partners to guide students through scholarship opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day scholarship operations with the Financial Aid Manager.
• Manage and reconcile scholarship data and documentation.
• Review applications and make award decisions based on criteria and professional judgment.
• Ensure records comply with federal, state, and university guidelines.
• Monitor compliance with scholarship and financial aid regulations.
• Serve as a point of contact for students and families regarding financial aid and scholarships.
• Collaborate with faculty, advisors, and staff to guide students through scholarship processes.
• Provide training on scholarship systems, eligibility requirements, and awarding guidelines.
• Track deadlines and maintain up-to-date records; support reporting needs.
