The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to coordinate and administer a financial aid program at the University of Houston-System. This role involves awarding scholarships and grants while assisting students with their financial assistance needs.
The ideal candidate should possess a four-year degree and at least one year of experience in financial aid. Responsibilities include resolving award issues, counseling students, and ensuring proper disbursement of funds.
Department: Scholarships & Financial Aid Salary: $20.68 - $23.50 hourly
Coordinates and administers a financial aid program which awards scholarships, grants, or other forms of student financial assistance. Coordinates related programs and services that will meet the internship and career needs of students and employers.
MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience. Certification/Licensing: None.
