INTEGRIS Health in Woodward, OK, is seeking a day shift, full-time Scheduling Specialist for Central Scheduling. The role handles scheduling, patient access processes, and communications across the health system.

You will work within a not-for-profit health network dedicated to improving patient access and outcomes. The Scheduling Specialist will interact with patients, physician offices, and departments, ensuring accurate data, proper documentation, and timely access to care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of patient access operations (scheduling/registration/insurance) or related experience.
• Experience in scheduling, registration, insurance, billing, collections, and customer service in a hospital or physician office setting.
• Proficient with standard office equipment and PC software.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and registers patients; verifies demographics and handles payments per protocol.
• Processes insurance verification, coverage eligibility, and authorizations.
• Multitasks heavy call volume with professional, courteous service.
• Resolves routine patient questions on reimbursement.
• Makes outbound or inbound calls to resolve concerns.
• Collects patient payments and ensures financial clearance.
• Handles communications via phone, email, and in-person with care teams.
• Supports process-improvement initiatives within the department.
• Supports quality improvement goals and progress tracking.
• Ensures compliance with EMTALA, HIPAA, and contracts.
