What You’ll Do
- Confirm patient appointments and complete reminder calls according to company guidelines.
- Coordinate and manage patient and clinician schedules efficiently.
- Track daily scheduling metrics and communicate scheduling trends to leadership.
- Answer incoming calls while providing exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and visitors.
- Maintain accurate patient records within scheduling and billing systems.
- Complete scheduling documentation, forms, and correspondence.
- Provide administrative, billing, and customer service support as needed.
- Protect confidential patient information and maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Maintain dependable attendance while supporting the changing needs of the department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience in a high-volume medical office environment required.
- Patient scheduling experience in a physician’s office or healthcare setting preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
