Job summary

Chapa-De Indian Health is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to build and manage provider schedules for Medical and Behavioral Health teams in our Auburn/Rocklin operations. You will ensure coverage, monitor capacity, and coordinate leave to support seamless patient access.

The role requires organization, proactive planning, and adherence to scheduling protocols while partnering with operations to meet staffing and public health goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules while adhering to policies.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and EMR systems preferred.
• CDL, vehicle insurance and DMV report current and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and adjust daily provider schedules in the scheduling system for Medical and Behavioral Health teams.
• Monitor scheduling metrics and communicate capacity, demand variations, and coverage needs.
• Coordinate coverage for provider leave including locum providers and real-time sick calls.
• Maintain scheduling protocols, templates, and dashboards with accurate group visits and provider availability.
• Serve as liaison between scheduling and operations to align staffing with public health trends and patient access goals.

upport care before it even begins. As a Scheduling Specialist at Chapa-De Indian Health, you’ll thoughtfully build and manage provider schedules, ensuring the right coverage is in place to deliver seamless access and exceptional care for every patient.

Hourly Pay: $27.35-$28.50

The position will start in Auburn and move to Rocklin Spring 2027.

What You'll Do

• Create, manage, and adjust daily provider schedules for Medical and Behavioral Health teams in scheduling system.
• Monitor scheduling metrics and proactively communicate scheduling capacity, supply-demand variations, and coverage needs.
• Coordinate coverage for provider leave (PTO/CME), including scheduling locum providers and managing real-time sick call adjustments.
• Maintain scheduling protocols, templates, and dashboards while ensuring accuracy in group visits, meeting blocks, and provider availability.
• Serve as the key liaison between scheduling and operations to ensure alignment with staffing resources, public health trends, and patient access goals.

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple schedules, while following guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Platform and ideally EMR.
• Current and in good standing: CDL, vehicle insurance and DMV report.
