Job summary

Pacifico Energy LLC is seeking a Scheduling Lead for a major energy infrastructure project in the Cedar Creek, NE area. The role involves interrogating contractor programs and reporting the truth about the critical path, including unwelcome findings, to keep projects on track.

You will review schedule logic, drive critical path analysis, and produce project-wide schedule reporting for executives and the project team. A strong background in delay analysis and tools is required.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years scheduling large capital projects.
  • 5+ years representing an owner or client over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract.
  • Hands-on delay analysis experience.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and challenge the contractor's schedule, logic and progress claims.
  • Own the owner's independent schedule assessment.
  • Drive critical path and float analysis, and flag slippage early.
  • Review work package sequencing against the schedule.
  • Evaluate the schedule impact of change requests and delay events.
  • Ensure approved changes are reflected in the project schedule.
  • Produce schedule reporting for the project and executive team.
