We are seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to lead the development, maintenance, and analysis of project schedules for heavy industrial Oil and Gas EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. The ideal candidate will ensure effective schedule management throughout the project lifecycle, providing accurate reporting and facilitating timely project delivery.

The Senior Scheduler will be responsible for managing project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives, and facilitating timely project delivery.
Responsibilities
- CPM Schedule Development: Develop, integrate, and maintain fully integrated Critical Path Method (CPM) project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accurate sequencing of activities and maintaining baseline integrity. Ensure schedules align with project objectives and timelines while supporting project execution.
- Resource Management: Define resource requirements, load schedules with labor and equipment, and optimize resource allocation to prevent over-allocation and inefficiencies. Perform resource leveling to balance workforce demand across project phases. Generate manpower curves to provide visibility into labor trends, helping project teams anticipate and address resource constraints.
- Progress Monitoring: Collaborate with planning and progress monitoring teams to ensure timely and consistent tracking of project activities.
- Change Management: Assess scope change requests for their impact on schedules and critical paths and reconcile current schedules with previous versions.
- Risk Analysis: Conduct critical path analyses and evaluate potential risks or delays, developing mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed schedule reports, including progress updates, forecasts, and "what-if" scenarios, to aid project management decision-making.
- Close-Out Documentation: Deliver comprehensive close-out data to facilitate knowledge retention, including lessons learned and project data compilation.
- Standardization: Develop and document scheduling standards and procedures to ensure consistency across projects.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 7-15 years in planning and scheduling roles within heavy industrial construction, EPC projects, or related industries.
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in Primavera P6, including both basic and advanced functionalities. Microsoft Projects.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong background in Data Centers, Oil & Gas, with a comprehensive understanding of procurement sequences, fabrication shop load requirements, and construction techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in earned value management and the ability to audit and validate construction progress.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Project, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Certifications: Primavera P6 certification; relevant work experience will be considered.
