Ryan Companies US, Inc. is offering a Construction Scheduling Intern role to work with a scheduling team on real active projects. You’ll learn how milestones, sequencing, and daily field activities come together to drive the schedule and gain practical CPM scheduling experience.

You’ll build skills in scheduling software, contracts, and the standards the team uses, with the potential to transition to a full-time role. This internship blends office work with on-site learning across projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• Genuine interest in construction scheduling, planning, and project controls.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable split between office work and active construction sites.
• Eager to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Work with an experienced scheduler to learn and apply Ryan's scheduling standards and process (Fundamentals, the Ryan Process, and P6).
• Spend time on active jobsites, linking the schedule to field progress.
• Assist project teams in creating, updating, and reviewing schedules through proposal and preconstruction.
• Help maintain up-to-date schedules with regular progress updates.
• Assist in preparing monthly project schedule health reports and analyze scheduling data.
• Attend collaborative planning sessions with project teams, subcontractors, and owners.
• Observe peer review sessions on complex projects to understand stress-testing of schedules.
• Help capture and organize completed schedule data for Data Analytics improvement.
