AltaMed Health Services Corporation in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator I to coordinate urgent, routine, and follow-up specialist appointments for IDT-approved authorizations. You will work with the IDT team, PCPs, PACE Center staff, and specialists to ensure timely access to care.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, Medical Assistant Certificate preferred, and at least two years in a medical setting, with experience in referrals/authorizations and an electronic health

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.
• Two years minimum experience in medical/clinical field.
• Experience with referrals/authorizations and with an electronic health system.
• Bilingual English, Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate urgent, routine, and follow-up specialist appointments for IDT-approved authorizations.
• Collaborate with IDT team to coordinate specialty services and advocate for participants' needs.
• Liaise between participant, PCP, PACE Center staff, specialty providers, and Utilization Management to ensure timely access to care.
