AltaMed is seeking a Patient Service Center Coordinator I to deliver outstanding patient service while handling scheduling, registrations, and insurance verification. You will answer calls, assist with appointment changes, and help patients navigate AltaMed services to promote preventive care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to policies, and a positive patient experience in a busy clinic setting. A bilingual English/Spanish preferred candidate is ideal for serving our diverse community

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a call center environment or customer service environment required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while assisting patients with scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling medical and dental appointments.
• Answer incoming calls, assist with patient registration, verify demographic and insurance information, and route calls to appropriate departments.
• Support daily call center operations by monitoring call flow and communicating routine clinic updates.
