Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. in Wheeling, IL is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to support our construction and installation operations.

You will manage daily job schedules, coordinate materials, track progress, and assist in permit workflows to keep projects on track and clients connected. You will work with field crews, project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion, schedule inspections, manage change orders, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; associate degree or trade certification is a plus.
• Experience in scheduling, construction coordination, project administration, or electrical service coordination.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with work order systems and documentation control tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily and weekly construction and installation schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and material deliveries to align with project timelines.
• Schedule inspections, permitting appointments, and commissioning activities.
• Set up new jobs and ensure proper documentation is uploaded and maintained.
