What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and schedule patients for services at various ophthalmology practices in a timely and professional manner
- Manage high-volume incoming patient calls and schedule appointments with the appropriate providers
- Collect relevant patient demographic information, including insurance coverage and medical history
- Educate patients on the referral process and arrange for necessary diagnostic testing
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to established scheduling guidelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong customer service orientation and servicing skills
- Excellent communication skills with patients over the phone
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
