National Dentex Labs in Irwin, PA is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage case scheduling, billing, and customer communications in a full-time role at the Albensi Dental Laboratory.

The position requires attention to detail, strong computer skills, and experience with dental terminology and Microsoft Office. On-site work with standard hours Monday to Friday. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Dental office experience preferred.
• Dental terminology knowledge preferred.
• Billing experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription information via Data Entry to schedule cases.
• Schedule each case received and enter demographics in LIS; print notes.
• Billing and invoicing for finished cases; attach documents.
• Answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to offices.
• Respond to inquiries from customer offices.
• Unpacking, packing, and shipping prep, with proper handling.

Join National Dentex – a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Scheduling Coordinator opportunity at NDX Albensi Dental Laboratory in Irwin, PA.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions Of The Position

• Enter prescription information via Data Entry to schedule cases
• Perform the scheduling function for each case received.
  • Through LIS, enter demographics and customer information
  • Print preference notes matching to case
• Responsible for billing and invoicing all finished cases and will sort and attach
• Assist with answering incoming calls
• Make outgoing calls to customer’s offices
• Respond to all inquiries from customer’s offices

Secondary Responsibilities And Essential Functions Of The Position

• Unpacking and sanitizing new work as needed following instruction which includes wearing protective gear
• Sorts and attaches doctor prescriptions
• Responsible for properly packing all completed cases
• Responsible for verifying and properly consolidating all cases to prepare for shipping
• Responsible for utilizing UPS and FedEx software and properly maintaining database integrity and account naming procedures
• Disburse cases for local drivers
• Maintain proper level of assembled shipping boxes
• All other jobs as assigned

Minimum Education And Experience Required

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated relevant employment experience may be considered in lieu of education
• Dental office experience preferred
• Dental terminology knowledge preferred
• Billing experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Disinfectant process chemicals
• Personal protective equipment as required
• Office equipment
