Job summary

Locumsmart, LLC is seeking a Scheduling Analysis Manager to lead the Scheduling Analyst team within the Business Operations Department. The role focuses on driving scheduling efficiencies, mentoring analysts, and coordinating with vendor and facility contacts to optimize workflows.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver operational improvements and scalable scheduling solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in scheduling, operations management, or a related field, preferably within a VMS or similar environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a people leader, manage a team, and foster a high performance culture.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with scheduling and workforce management tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a manager responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Scheduling Analyst team.
• Directly managing a group of scheduling analysts and developing personalized metrics.
• Act as escalation point for scheduling, timesheets, or related responsibilities.
• Attend regular vendor meetings and communicate outcomes to analysts.
• Liaise with internal teams and outsourcing partners to align operational goals.
• Manage scheduling tools and ensure data cleanliness and accuracy in Locumsmart systems.
• Analyze scheduling performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Own the backlog and prioritize enhancements to improve accuracy and reduce manual effort.
