Job summary

HG Analytics is seeking a Medical Scheduling Supervisor to lead the scheduling team and ensure timely, accurate patient assistance throughout scheduling processes. This role combines hands-on scheduling with team leadership, onsite training, performance monitoring, and regional support.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced healthcare environment with EMR experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of patient scheduling experience.
• Experience with an EMR/EHR system is required.
• Prior supervisory or team-coordination experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to coach, train, and hold team members accountable.
• Willingness to travel regionally and work onsite 60%+.
• Healthcare, medical office, or patient services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support, and coach scheduling staff to meet daily goals.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, quality, and scheduling targets.
• Review activity to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Provide ongoing coaching and accountability to schedulers.
• Develop processes to improve scheduling efficiency and patient engagement.
• Spend 60%+ of time onsite and travel regionally for training and audits.
• Identify eligible patients for the program and route through enrollment.
• Perform hands-on scheduling when needed and resolve conflicts.
