Job Summary:

Job Summary: The Scheduler Sr-PACE supports the scheduling staff, including training and workflow management and serves as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related issues and escalations. Ensures compliance with CMS and PACE program guidelines through internal workflow audits; monitors scheduling efficiency and implements process improvements in collaboration with the department manager. Generate reports related to scheduling metrics. Assists with onboarding and training of new scheduling staff. Collaborates with various departments and schedules team and department wide meetings. May provide administrative support for PACE center. Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience:

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree preferred. Minimum two years experience in customer service or administrative office experience, preferably in medical or healthcare environment working with elderly adults.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge and Skills: Familiar with CMS and PACE programming and guidelines. Read, write legibly, and speak in English (and Spanish preferred) with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office and patient care equipment required for the position; perform required patient care activities related to the position. Relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.

Licensures and Certifications:

Licensures and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
