Join to apply for the Scheduler II role at GI Alliance

GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Scheduler II. The position involves scheduling patients for office visits and procedures, managing physician schedules, handling patient registration and financial transactions, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting with high call volume
  2. Maintaining physicians' schedules for office visits and procedures
  3. Taking triage call messages for medical staff
  4. Viewing patient visit notes, identifying problems, diagnoses, and physician orders
  5. Assisting in patient registration and financial transactions
  6. Scheduling radiology/lab appointments and recalls
  7. Checking in patients upon arrival and checking out upon departure
  8. Collecting payments and reconciling charges
  9. Filing and preparing patient charts in EMR
  10. Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service experience in a medical office
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a basic understanding of healthcare plans
  • Bilingual skills are a plus

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 2-5 years of medical scheduling preferred

Requirements for Level II:

  • Intermediate experience (4+ years) and/or more independence
  • Additional duties to assist the office
  • Consistent high performance

Performance Expectations:

  • Strong communication and technical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Self-motivated with ethical integrity
