UVA Imaging in Charlottesville, Virginia is seeking a Scheduler I to join a patient-focused team. The role supports scheduling and registration while collaborating with the Imaging Center and Business Office teams.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule. Training is provided for those new to healthcare or scheduling, and a clear career ladder exists within the Business Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating imaging services.
• Providing friendly and professional assistance to patients by phone.

Schedule:Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia

Position Overview

The Scheduler I plays an important role in creating a positive experience for our patients. This position supports patients throughout the scheduling and registration process while working closely with our Imaging Center and Business Office teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating imaging services
• Providing friendly and professional assistance to patients by phone
• Registering patients and maintaining accurate patient information
