State of Wisconsin’s Southern Wisconsin Center in Union Grove is seeking a part-time Scheduler to plan and post daily work rosters for 350+ staff in a 24/7 facility. The role requires coordinating vacations, leave, and cross-building staffing while handling staff inquiries.
The position offers a rotating 3:30pm–12:00am schedule every other weekend, paid probation, and access to the state benefits package. DHS background checks and TB testing are required before start.

As a SWC Scheduler, you will be responsible for determining scheduling needs and preparing and posting work schedules for over 350 employees in a 24-7 facility. Duties include:
The starting pay is $23.16 per hour, plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required.
Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. This position is classified as an Office Operations Associate and is in pay schedule and range 02/10.
All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by Southern Wisconsin Center or medical personnel approved by the facility prior to their start date.
