Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments from phone requests.
• Coordinate with physician offices, patients, and Health Center departments; verify insurance eligibility.
• Ensure proper patient records and film studies are available before appointments.
• Remind patients of appointments and to bring prior records.
• Fill cancellations and reschedule appointments to optimize provider schedules.
• Work under the supervision of the Clinic Supervisor/Manager.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for scheduling patient appointments from phone requests.
• Works with physician offices, patients, Health Center departments and all others in completing the scheduling function, including patient demographic information and insurance eligibility verification.
• Assures that proper patient records and film studies are available prior to the patients' appointments.
• Reminds patients of appointments and to bring prior records as appropriate.
• Contributes to efficiently of provider schedules by filling cancellations and rescheduling appointments when requested.
• Works under the supervision of the Clinic Supervisor/Manager.

Qualifications
