Job summary

Stone Rehab and Senior Living in Newton Upper Falls, MA is seeking a Scheduler for a full-time 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shift with no weekends. You will develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage across nursing units and shifts.

Responsibilities include monitoring attendance, coordinating call-outs and vacations, communicating changes to staff and leadership, and updating records in the scheduling system for informed staffing decisions.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in good standing with MA registry.
• Experience as Scheduler in long-term care or healthcare preferred, but training is available.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules.
• Monitor staffing levels, fill open shifts, and coordinate coverage for call-outs and leaves.
• Communicate schedule changes to nursing staff and leadership.
• Track attendance, overtime, and time-off requests per policies and regulations.
• Update scheduling records and prepare reports to support daily operations.

$46,800 - $58,200/annually, based on experience
Full-Time | 7:00AM – 3:30PM No Weekends!

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Develop and Maintain Staff Schedules: Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage across all nursing units and shifts.
• Coordinate Staffing Coverage: Monitor staffing levels, fill open shifts, and coordinate coverage for call-outs, vacations, leaves, and other scheduling needs.
• Communicate with Staff and Leadership: Communicate schedule changes, shift assignments, and staffing needs to nursing staff, department managers, and nursing leadership.
• Monitor Attendance and Scheduling Compliance: Track attendance, overtime, and time-off requests while helping ensure schedules align with facility policies, staffing requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain Scheduling Records and Reports: Update scheduling systems, maintain accurate staffing records, and prepare reports to support staffing decisions and efficient daily operations.

Qualifications for Success:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the MA state registry.
• Prior experience as a Scheduler in a long‑term care, assisted living, or healthcare setting preferred, but willing to train the right person!
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
