Saint Thomas Surgicare is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to coordinate scheduling for pediatric and adult patients at our ambulatory surgery center. The role includes verification of insurance details and maintaining high-quality communication with patients and staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks with confidentiality and care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in surgery scheduling and/or medical office.

Surgery Scheduler at Saint Thomas Surgicare

The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling pediatric and adult patients for the surgery center and assists with insurance verification when needed. The Surgical Scheduler must display excellent telephone etiquette as he/she manages calls of utmost importance to providing quality and continuity of individual patient care.
