Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate and maintain monthly staffing schedules for resident care. The role requires building daily coverage, coordinating with staff, and filling in as needed to meet care standards.

Ideal candidates have scheduling experience, proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. CNA or CMT preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior scheduling experience preferred.
• Computer skills including MS Office and MS Excel.
• Ability to maintain attendance records and use a scheduling program.
• Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required.
• MUST BE CNA or CMT PREFERRED.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains staff schedules.
• Provides staffing for sick leave, vacation, long-term leave.
• Schedules staff according to care needs and staff availability.
• Enters scheduling data and creates schedules.
• Contacts staff regarding day-to-day changes.
• Enters staff information into database.
• Maintains staff statistics and reports.
• Maintains on-call coverage and retention reports.
• Performs general office duties.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Flexible to making daily staffing schedules and working on the floor when needed.
• Scheduler will also oversee employee retention.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Scheduler is responsible to coordinate and maintain monthly staffing schedules. Ensure there is appropriate coverage daily for resident care. Fill in as needed on schedule with staffing needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior scheduling experience preferred
• Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and Scheduling program.
• Maintain employee attendance records
• Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve and think creatively.
• MUST BE CNA or CMT PREFERRED

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Schedules staff according to care needs, service criteria, care plans and staff availability.
• Enters scheduling data, creates schedules.
• Contacts staff regarding day-to-day changes.
• Enters staff information into database.
• Maintains staff statistics, and reports.
• Maintains call-ins ,on call coverage 24/7, capacity and retention reports.
• Performs general office duties.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Flexible to making daily staffing schedules as well as working the floor when needed.
• Scheduler will also be over employee retention.
